My dad, as you know, is passionate about resin. He got interested in making home décor from wood and resin, an international trend that hasn't been brought to our shores yet. He learnt from watching youtube videos and joining wood turning workshops (thanks skillsfuture!), practising every week for the past couple of months after working in the day.
He sources wood from local shops or warehouses diligently, selecting wood blocks based on their type and grain patterns. Our dad then travels from workshop to wood companies to his mini studio every day; yet always remembers to dedicate time to cure, sand, and polish his pieces.
