Service Description

Have fun at this introductory workshop suitable for adult beginners who are interested to learn about wood-turning and pouring resin art. Look forward to carving your own wood-resin display dish from beginning to end. Learn how to handle wood, identify its different wood types, and the various wood-turning techniques there are. You will be able to carve out your bowl directly from a wood block of your choice, and learn how to carve patterns/grooves with precision and consistency. We use modern tools that are handy and easy to control (for males and females), compared to traditional tools. This makes the wood-turning experience much easier and more fun too. Once your wood base is ready, you will learn about the various resin materials and techniques of pouring resin art. You can get creative and select resin colours of your choice from our full range of pigments and materials, and complete your piece with a resin pour into the carved wood dish. Each workshop is approximate 3 - 4 hours. Once you have completed your creations, you can leave the rest to us to polish and finish, then send it over to your addresses - do expect to receive it within 5 - 10 working days (~2 weeks). 3 - 4 hours 180/pax, 1 pax per workshop (due to current limitations) Due to the nature of wood and the magic of resin, your end products may look slightly different from what you created in class, but that's the beauty of it. By registering for our workshop, you agree to the terms and conditions: Please do arrive on time for the workshop as the resin materials are prepared beforehand for the class to start on time. Should you arrive later than the class timing, you will be kindly asked to reschedule the class to another date. We seek your understanding on this matter! About the workshop: - We will open up bookings for 1-2 pax per timeslot, in light of the current COVID-19 situation. Refunds/Cancellations: - Any bookings made with us can be rescheduled up to 6 months ahead, or it will be refunded if the government announces restriction/heightened alert measures due to a shift in the COVID-19 situation in Singapore.
